Team AM+A are absolutely delighted to have won 'PR Campaign of the Year' at the TravMedia awards 2023 for our work on the Kaunas European Capital of Culture 2022 campaign!
The TravMedia Awards 2023, which took place at The Londoner in Leicester Square, saw the best and brightest from the world of travel journalism and communications come together to celebrate the best work of the past 12 months.
As a finalist in the 'PR Campaign of the Year' category we found ourselves in great company, having been shortlisted alongside Skyscanner, the South Australian Tourism Commission and the Buckingham Palace team for their work on the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Going home with the award is a testament to our hard work and the relationship we established with the amazing Kaunas2022 team!
Back in early 2022 we were contracted to increase global awareness of Kaunas in Lithuania as the European Capital of Culture with a focus on securing high profile coverage in key markets across Europe.
We established a comprehensive PR strategy that included global press office services, media buying and an international media visits programme.
Partnering with internationally-renowned artists such as Yoko Ono and Marina Abramovic helped us generate global coverage for the Kaunas2022 programme and bring leading editors and journalists to the city for the first time.
Our hard work resulted in 77 items of coverage in key markets, 33 media visits, 62 items of content translated into 11 languages and a total article reach of 634,287,654+.
