What to expect at the World Travel Market 2020.

In November 2020, the WTM London & Travel Forward’s Virtual Conference will take place.

As the leading global event for travel and tourism, WTM will be key in helping to rebuild and assist the recovery of the sector post-COVID. With that in mind, we’ve put together five key points that will get you prepared for WTM should you choose to attend. First deadlines for WTM media and stand information will be the 5th October.

1. New health and safety measures announced

Health and safety is the issue on everyone’s minds. To ensure visitors are protected, the WTM will this year become a ‘hybrid fair’ of physical and online events to safely manage visitor numbers. New changes include:

  • Organisations can safely visit exhibitor stands whilst maintaining social distancing using a one way system
  • Contactless payments and tickets
  • Frequent sanitisation
  • All food will be pre-packaged
